I'm seeking to tap you all up again.
8 years ago I ran the London Marathon, having an uncontrollable urge to avoid the very real suggestion that I was getting old, .
Well that urge is back, with bells on, so I'm running the 2018 Liverpool Marathon for Spectrum Wasp.
Spectrum WASP are a support group for parents with children on the Autistic spectrum. This includes Autism, Asperger’s syndrome and ADHD.
They offer support like:
- discussing concerns and issues
- sharing experiences with people that understand
- organising days out and parties for the group
- developing activities for those with disabilities
- investigating relevant specific training
- Linking in with agencies and schools.
So please cough up what you can and humour me as I wheeze around a 26.2 mile course again.
Even if it's just to see me do that wobbly legs thing on the last mile - for comedy value that alone is worth a tenner....
Cheers all.
