And so the serious training starts for" Grandad Frogs stroll along the Camino". This is a 720 kilometres walk from the France side of the Pyrenees across northern Spain on the Camino de Santiago to Santiago De Compestela.Taking about 30 days,I am starting at the beginning of April.I will again be doing this to raise funds for the Yeleni centre to enable them to continue giving free therapies to people who are undergoing treatment for cancer. They treat male and female clients with ANY kind of cancer for a total of nine therapies. This is a page for donations as a kind of sponsoring of my walk.I will be paying all of my expenses myself and,as with my Ben Nevis climb, all monies donated will go to the Yeleni centre.
May I suggest a group of 10 people could get together and each donate 5 pence a mile so for 250 miles it would mean £12:50 each.Or just sponsor by yourself for the whole journey. All donations gratefully received.I intend to complete the walk,so careful what you agree to in these tough times.Thanks.
