Captain Tom Moore raised £38.9 million for the NHS Covid-19 appeal by walking 100 laps around his garden. I'm taking part in the Captain Tom 100 on the weekend of 30th April 2021 and hope to raise some funds for a charity I love.
So, for my #CaptainTom100 challenge:-
I pledge to do 100 x one minute long 'knee planks' over the bank holiday weekend starting 30th April 2021.
With your help, I aim to raise funds for my favourite local charity, Make a Move, who I am also lucky enough to work for. Make a Move helps people make positive changes in their lives and improve their mental health using movement, music, mindfulness and a range of other creative and therapeutic techniques. We work with older people, young adults with learning disabilities, mothers with postnatal depression and children in schools.
Well done Dawnie, love WendyClaire x

About Captain Tom 100
On 6 April 2020, Captain Tom Moore raised an astounding £38.9 million for the NHS Covid-19 appeal by walking 100 laps around his garden. To honour him and his incredible achievements throughout his lifetime, the Captain Tom 100 is taking place on the weekend of 30th April 2021 (which marks what would have been his 101st birthday). In support of Make a Move, I pledge to do 100 one minute long 'planks' between 30th April and 3 May 2021.
