Developed as an additional activity from the We can Do group for older people, the Card-Making and Paper craft group is specifically aimed at older people aged 50 and over. This is held every Thursday from 2pm to 4pm.

Many older people suffer social isolation, loneliness and lack in self confidence. This activity gives them an opportunity to meet, make new friends, learn new skills and support each other both within and outside of the group.

We aim to reduce social isolation for older members of our community. During the summer school holidays, the group members also take part in activities helping us to develop our aims of intergenerational participation.
