We are a bunch of Cambridge Bootcamp ladies who love to exercise and want to raise money for a great cause in Cambridge.
SexYOUality is a local charity working to support young LGBT people in Cambridgeshire because:
• More than half (55%) of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people experience homophobic or transphobic bullying in schools.
• 1 in 5 LGBT people have experienced a hate crime in the past three years.
and
• LGBT young people are three times more likely to develop mental health problems.
So, we are doing The Spartan Race... think of a 3 mile sprint packed with more than 20 obstacles including mud, fire, monkey nets, rope climbs, wall jumps and barbed wire!
