Proud to promote the health, well-being, and inclusion of LGBT+ young people across Cambridgeshire. We aspire for LGBT+ young people to make successful and healthy transitions to adulthood and achieve the best of their hopes and potential. We provide individual support to LGBT+ youth to empower them, facilitate them in overcoming barriers and tackle the effects of negativity. We deliver training to schools and local professionals, developing awareness, and inspiring the inclusion of LGBT+ people. We aim to help LGBT+ young people in Cambridgeshire feel accepted and connected.
Why the community needs us
We envisage an inclusive society where LGBTQ+ young people are healthy, successful and celebrated.
We support the wellbeing and creativity of LGBTQ+ young people in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and surrounding areas through information, support and groups. We build inclusive communities to tackle inequalities through consultancy, training and education to all sectors.
Our impact on the community
We provide one-to-one and group support for LGBT+ young people in Cambridgeshire from the age of 5-25. We also run the Rainbow Flag scheme for schools and provide bespoke training to businesses, public and private sector organisations and the NHS in the East of England. A young person who attended our summer residential Camp Camp in 2019 writes: "You are here, you are safe; everything is OK. I won't forget that. I am supported and valued by my community."
