In March I will be running the Cambridge Half Marathon for the amazing Kite Trust. They do amazing work for LGBT+ young people and their families all across Cambridgeshire, genuinly saving lives in the process. Please donate anything you can. Thank you in advance to all of you.
For anyone who works at Cambridge University Press, please do put your full name down next to your donation as the Press will match anything raised by colleagues.
The Kite Trust is the only charity in Cambridgeshire dedicated to supporting for LGBT+ young people. Every year The Kite Trust runs over 150 groups for LGBT+ young people and their families. It supports over 100 young people through its one-to-one services and delivers training to over 2,000 school pupils and local professionals.
Cambridgeshire has one of the highest LGBT+ populations in the UK. 44% of LGBT+ young people have considered suicide. 64% of trans pupils are bullied at UK schools because of their identity
