In a fit of madness (and increased fitness) I've decided to do the Great Manchester Run 10k again this year. I did the run back in 2022 and surprised myself by not only completing it, but by managing to get all the way round without walking. A real achievement considering I was about 8m post major surgery and very nearly dropped out before the race.
This time round, I'm a lot fitter and more confident and have decided to raise money for Jump Space, a local charity close to my heart. Jump Space are a charity based in Stockport offering rebound therapy and sensory play for disabled young people. My daughter attends every week and really enjoys her sessions, it's often hard to get her to stop bouncing! We can see the benefits to her of regular rebound and participating in a regular, structured activity.
