Signal is a parent support group for autistic children and their families in Lewisham. Established by parents, and run by parents for parents, it's been going since 1993. From the original 20 families it has grown to around 200. It's a really supportive community for autistic children and their families and I have found it invaluable since I joined.
Because Signal is small it could really benefit from your donations, for example:
£10 buys an autism-specific book for its specialist library
£30 covers rent for a monthly family support meeting with a specialist speaker
£100 pays for printing and postage for one issue of the regular newsletter
Supporting James is a full time job and there is no way I could do it without the support of organisations like Signal. We certainly don't get the support we need from the local authority or the NHS, it falls to charities to do it and to do it well they need funds!
So please donate if you can and in return you get to see me slogging round the Big Half marathon course in a lovely yellow Signal t shirt!
