Team Fundraisers
Encouraged by our Son Nathan, we are pulling together, as family, to do the local Fun Run (8.5miles) to help raise vital funding for an organisation close to our hearts - Our Place Community Hub, Mentoring Scheme.
Our Place is home to many passionate people who support our local community, particularly in times of need.
One of the many ways they do this, is through their Mentoring scheme- with dedicated volunteers delivering over 1.7k hours of 1x1 mentoring and over 2.3k hours of group mentoring in the local Primary and Secondary schools last year alone.
We want to encourage them further by raising funds to support them in another busy and demanding year ahead.
We hope that you will join with us - if not literally by pounding the streets, then by donating what you can to continue to ensure Our Place continues to reach and support those who need a helping hand, those who need a listening ear, those in need of a sense of belonging, connection and hope, those who need guidance and advise, and those in need of practical hands on help.
