Climbing (the height of!) Everest to raise funds for work with homeless people.
I'm still pretty new at TLA, having joined the team in September 2022. I love the work we are doing in housing and supporting homeless people. My passion has always been for working with vulnerable people, and all of my jobs have been in this sector of housing and homelessness. As a charity, TLA is being squeezed at the moment by the effects of austerity and the cost-of-living crisis, so we need to be saving money and raising money in any way we can. I hope this sponsored fundraising effort of mine will raise money, and also inspire others to do their own fundraising projects to make money for our vital work.
