The University of Warwick's Classical and Modern Dance Society (CMD) are running a 5 HOUR Danceathon to raise money for Doorway - a charity which provides advice, support, and accommodation for young homeless people in Warwickshire. As a club, we are passionate about raising money for charity and are committed to fundraising for such a benevolent local cause. So what better way to fundraise than by combining our passions for charity and dance in a fun, diverse, (and quite lengthy) Danceathon!
At 12-5pm on Saturday 25th October in Westwood Dance Studio, CMD will have mini workshops from Salsa, Eqho, Breakdance, Indian Classical and CMD which will keep us dancing for 5 hours. We will also have talks from some young people who have benefited from the charity's work and all proceeds raised will go to Doorway.
