The Daylight Centre Fellowship is a remarkable charity in Wellingborough that strives to prepare adults facing homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion for healthier, happier, more independent, and purposeful futures.
Their services include a Community Hub, offering basic needs such as access to showers, clothing, and food to those in need. In addition, their foodbank has delivered 3619 food parcels in 2022, making a significant difference in the community. Lastly, their Veggie Patch service encourages service users and volunteers to cultivate a sense of community and eliminate homelessness while promoting healthier lifestyles, social connectedness, contact with nature, and personal development. Collaborative efforts lead to better mental and physical well-being for all.
As a volunteer for the Daylight Centre, I have witnessed first-hand the impact they have on our community and am eager to contribute further and show my appreciation for their work in supporting those who need it the most.
