By sponsoring a young person, you'd become a community patron of The Mentoring Lab, helping us with crucial support that will allow us to continue delivering our projects, activities, and mentoring resources to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. About our services
We have a solid background in delivering quality skill-based career projects to young people aged 10 -18 years old face to face and online. Since 2018 we have been planning and delivering The Greenwich Summer Youth Programme, which engages 300- 500 young people each year. Last year we delivered over 80 activities and engaged over 400 young people. Our experience in delivering quality activities and project to young people make us experts online and offline.

About our young people
The young people we work with are natural leaders and future change-makers, however, they do not have access to information or opportunities that will develop the necessary skills or qualities to ensure that their leadership skills are used for good. Your efforts will help us support young people that commonly live on social housing estates, often from unemployed or low-income households, with limited incomes to pay for extra circular activities, holiday clubs, or investment into interests or hobbies.

So, here's a breakdown of how your contribution can help us;

£10 is equivalent to the cost of 20 minutes of mentoring.

£25 is equivalent to the cost of 30 minutes of mentoring.

£100 will cover the cost of one month's mentoring, using high-impact coaching tools to one young person who is highly vulnerable and excluded from mainstream society, but with our support has lots of potentials to succeed and secure a safer future.

Can you offer more?
£600 will cover the cost of 1 vulnerable young person with learning needs receiving 6 months fortnightly one to one befriending or mentoring.

£1000 will cover the cost of an 5 day international cultural trip for 1 young person.

£1500 will cover the cost of 1 member of staff for 1 month. Delivering career mentoring clubs and weekly face to face activities to highly vulnerable young people living in our local area of Hackney, London, E9.

£6000 will cover the above staffing cost for 4 months.

£30,000 will help us to support over 300 young people in accessing our clubs, weekly mentoring and holiday clubs, for 6 months.

Sponsoring our annual operations
Sponsoring all our services for a year costs at least £105,000. If you are able to help in this way, we'd be able to plan ahead with the security of staying open for another year. Allowing us to support over 550 young people living across Hackney and London.
