Cook's May 100 Challenge

This May as a family we will be taking part in Flamingo Chicks May 100 Challenge, in which we hope to raise £100 for Flamingo Chicks as well as getting active!

Ella and her Grampy, Gary, will be swimming 100 lengths every week of May!
Tim will be running 100km throughout May!
Maisie will be creating her own Maisie's May Danceathon - in which she will dance to 100 songs over the month of May, you can follow her playlist and dance along! 

Flamingo Chicks is an award-winning charity and inclusive community giving disabled children the opportunity to explore movement. Alongside inclusive dance classes, they provide a vital peer support network for parents and carers, inter-generational volunteering, global outreach and youth-led advocacy. Supporting over 3,000 children a year, the charity is breaking down barriers to inclusion and helping fight for a fairer future for disabled children. 

Covid-19 has had a disproportionate impact on disabled children and their families - and we know that for many families in the Flamingo Chicks community the return to normal will be a cautious one. Flamingo Chicks are determined to make sure disabled children aren't forgotten in the Covid-19 recovery. Your help will enable to develop programmes, reaching MORE children through a combination of virtual and in-person inclusive activities.
