I have previously done the London and Edinburgh moonwalks' to raise money for breast cancer charities, I now want to do a similar event but for a cause of my choosing. I have decided to walk The Heron Way in full (30 miles) to raise money for Ben's Centre - somewhere dedicated to helping the most vulnerable people of Sheffield.
Any amount you could sponsor me would be greatly appreciated - after all, every little helps. Even just 50p, or maybe the price of a bus ticket or a pint? (Go on, you know it's not that much!) Then on the 13th of July you can rest easy and guilt-free whilst I'm adding an unimaginable amount of blisters to my lovely, stubby feet.
In all seriousness, I believe that Ben's Centre is doing something truly necessary and hope you can agree! (And can perhaps show that agreement in the form of sponsorship...)
