My friend, Kelly Round is the Founder and the Manager at Our Place Community Hub. The organisation is a Community Interest Company that works within the Sutton Coldfield community providing a range of advice and support services for children and families.
They also run a very successful but very over stretched Mentoring Scheme for children and parents that are in need of social and emotional support. They deliver group and one to one sessions for individuals dealing with issues from low self confidence, bullying and anger management difficulties through to those that are suffering from neglect, homelessness, depression or are self harming.
Each year Kelly and some others take on a new challenge to raise vital funds to keep their project running and enable them to help many many children/families that are suffering with a whole range of difficult circumstances.
