I am going to run a Spartan obstacle race over 5km for SexYouality (http://www.syacambs.org/). SexYouaility is an amazing charity that works to help that young lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGB&T) people are fully included in society, with equal access to opportunities, living without fear of prejudice, discrimination and harassment.
Apart from the challenge for myself with the race (and believe me it is one, I have just come back from the first training and I feel like falling apart...), this cause is very important to me and I would have hoped to have had such great support throughout my teenage years. Coming out has always been hard but we can try to make it a little easier with the right support and care and by getting rid of bullying.
