After my last attempt at a Half Marathon two years ago, the Marlow Half, when it poured with rain and significant parts of the course were under water, I vowed never to run another one. But I got persuaded to run this race for Carers Bucks (www.carersbucks.org). As a 61 year old diabetic I may soon be in need of such support myself so it seemed to a like good idea at the time. After several months of running around Utrecht November 14th is looming and 13.109375 miles still seems like a very long way. My last half marathon took 2 hours 55, Steve Young and I did share the honour of being joint last! I am aiming to be far more like 2 15 this time. So please give generously and lets see what we can raise.
