Davidson Family Milestones skydive for MS
Hello to all supporters of Wessex MS Therapy Centre as well as Family and Friends,
GREAT NEWS!! CONFIRMED TODAY ( 1ST SEP) IWILL SKYDIVE ON SAT 5 SEPTEMBER!!
I am a Trustee and Volunteer at the Centre. I have also been a fundraiser over many years, but this year is really special as it is my 75th Birthday in June.
Not only that but my eldest daughter, Jane will also have a milestone birthday as half a Century has gone by since I was present at her birth! And my eldest grandchild, Jane’s son Reuben, reaches his 21st birthday in May - see picture of them both.
Before the pandemic we were planning to sky dive together. Then lock down and first Jane got Covid-19 whilst working as a carer with limited PPE. Then Reuben went down with it too! They both still have the after effects and can no longer celebrate this family milestone with me.
I first became interested in doing a skydive for the Therapy Centre in 2015, but could not get my doctors approval so Reuben did the jump for me and we collected over £1000 for the Centre! - see picture.
Now I am allowed to jump and planned to do so in June close to my birthday, but delayed by lock down. Now I will jump on Saturday 5th September.
Will you help me raise £2,500 for this vital local charity that makes such a difference and gives our members with MS a better quality of life? - see picture of Impact Report of the Wessex MS Therapy Centre.
More later, THANK YOU,
Mike Davidson
