Hi my name is Zoe & I live in Milton Keynes.
I have never done any charity work or fundraising before although I have thought about it so many times, at the age of 28 I really need to get on with it.
Homelessness is something I have always wanted to volunteer for and be involved with and I suppose selfishly and regrettably I never have done. I can say that my time flies by past me and all though it's always been in the back of my mind I have never actioned it as have always been "busy".
This event really grabbed me and I'm going for it! It is something I can definitely do and really want to do.
I have registered to do 'Sleep Easy' with MK YMCA and I am so excited and motivated to do it and to raise as much money for them as I can.
I, with others who have voluntereed will be sleeping a night on the streets, well outside the YMCA CMK on the street there. It is on Friday 22nd April 2016 at around 7.00pm to around 7.00am the next morning.
In this task I will be experiencing just a tiny fraction, well just 12 hours or so of what so many people live like 24 hours of each day, everyday.
Please support me, if not by donating then by spreading the word and awareness of our local homeless community or even a moments thought for the people I am raising money for.
