Hello
I am competing in a 24 hour run, in doing so, raising money for the Mercia MS Therapy Centre.
Just over a year ago, I was introduced to a lovely family called the Kelsey's, it's an honour to know such a great family, unfortunately, recently heartache loomed as sadly, Donna passed away. Donna has had MS for some time.
Since being introduced to the family, I have got to know them all a little bit, and wow, what a genuinely lovely family, always extremely caring, light hearted and a pleasure to be around.
Mercia Ms Therapy Centre have done some great work helping Donna and the family out since being diagnosed with MS, so this is a great way to be able to give something back.
The event I am doing is called the Trail Attack 24, it's a 24 hour race in Alcester, where competitors run as far as they can in 24 hours. I am aiming to complete a minimum of 100 miles, so I feel the least others can do, is chip in whatever they can for a great cause!
To make things a tiny bit harder, I'm running a marathon 2 weeks before.
So all in all, and I am honoured to have known Donna, and very honoured to raise some money for the centre that helped Donna out. Every little helps, so if you could help in anyway you can, it will be well received and very much appreciated.
