On Tuesday 3rd September our team of 30 people will be volunteering for a day at St Werburghs City Farm in Bristol and we are fundraising to make a donation to the charity.
We will be helping the farm with various maintenance tasks across their 3 sites, including the community garden and Boiling Wells. Examples of activities include clearing the sites, gardening, building raised beds, repairing fences, mucking out the animals...
The farm is doing a fantastic job to support the local community through a number of services ranging from educational opportunities for school children to training placements for adults with disabilities. It is also a great place for residents across Bristol and neighbouring areas to enjoy a day out in a peaceful little haven.
Our team will be doing various fundraising activities, either individually or as a group. Some of the planned events include a bake sale, sponsored half marathon, and a raffle or tombola.
