I have agreed to jump (or be pushed....) out of a moving plane at 13,000 feet to raise money for The Prospects Trust at Snakehall Farm, it is their 25th anniversary this year, and they're trying to raise £25,000!
For those that don't know Snakehall farm here's a brief intro:
"The Prospects Trust at Snakehall Farm was established in 1989 to provide work placements and supported training for adults with learning difficulties, disabilities and those suffering from varying health needs (our co-workers) on an 18 acre organic farm in Reach, Cambridgeshire. Run as a social enterprise working to a co-operative ethos, the charity supports over 40 individuals per week, in addition we support visiting school groups, seasonal placements and create valuable volunteering opportunities. We also run a Garden Maintenance Service within a 10 mile radius of our farm and our produce is sold on site and through a loyal customer supply chain across the county. All our income generated by the sales of our organic produce is ploughed back into the running of our small Care Farm to better benefit and support our Co-workers."
All the funds raised will go towards the continual improvement of the socially inspiring Care Farm to ensure it stays open and fully functional. This place is a real safe haven to so many people, and it's a brilliant cause to raise money for!
So, please help me raise money for Snakehall Farm!
If anyone wants to come and watch us all screaming our heads off plummeting to the earth at a hundred miles an hour, please do!
Many thanks.
Emma
