The aim of my fundraiser is to walk 75 miles over a 31 day period, I plan to combination run/walk, all of which will be recorded. My chosen charity is Getfit4mentalwellness, this is incredibly personal to me, not only due to me becoming a facilitator, but also due to the support I have received. My husbands suicide has impacted my mental well-being greatly and throughout my recovery the GF4MW team have been supportive, my challenge is not only to honour this but also myself, pushing my boundaries, stepping outside of my comfort zone. Each step I take is a step closer to a balanced, healthy well-being and it also to encourage those who are silenced, those who struggle, those who lack confidence, those who suffer with suicide ideation and for those who know longer walk this plain. Mental ill health is invisible and stigma is prevalent within society, my aim is to tear down stigma and raise awareness. Each of us can recover, with the correct support, with kindness, understanding and no judgment.I dedicate this challenge to myself, to my children, to my chosen charity and to each individual battling the silent illness, that know as mental ill health.. #GF4MW
