Hi I am Maz, the Development Co-manager at The Prospects Trust. After celebrating 25 years of growing differently at Snakehall Farm and raising over £25K in a whole heap of fundraising antics with our team of Snakehall Superheroes, this year the Prospects Trust is concentrating on growing people and produce. However even in our quieter year we still have some fundraising ambitions.
We are looking to fundraise for a new farm vehicle. We wheely need a new van, one which like everything else here on the farm, must be different! Think ONE VAN put to many uses, a real MPV for Prospects Trust that is fully accessible for our disabled Co-workers. The new accessible van will be used daily throughout the seasons. From providing a responsive transport solution for those unable to access the farm via public transport, to taking teams out on deliveries, volunteering opportunities and training sessions the new van will be loaded full of our produce, our Co-workers and staff, taking our farm out to the wider community of Cambridgeshire.....and beyond zoom zooooom.
The Prospects Trust van will be fully utilised daily, providing a much needed transport solution for all workers at Snakehall Farm. It will be on the road by the end of 2015, subject to fundraising. It will raise our profile in the local area and Cambridge city as it will be logo'd up and zooming around full of our organic produce, putting our Co-workers into the role of delivery staff, taking their produce to customers, our farm to your doorstep. We need to raise £15,000 by the end of 2015, we are seeking donations to put Prospects Trust in Top Gear this year. Can you help?
