On a daily basis people in desperate need will be supplied, through agency referral, with food parcels comprising basic essentials delivered by volunteers and agency workers. This is being enabled through the establishment of a suitably equipped storage and distribution facility. Stock is achieved by donations from individuals, churches, schools, charitable groups etc.

Food poverty is an increasing issue in our community and is so often overlooked. There is a need to put food on the table for those who have nothing in their pocket, whether by loss of income, debt crisis, breakdown in relationships, to name but a few, and all that this can involve. In 2012 FIND gave out 1,988 emergency food parcels and the need is continuing to grow.

Immediate practical support to fulfil an urgent daily need whilst the recipient(s)and agencies work to resolve the underlying problems experienced by those referred to FIND.
