The Sea Cadets under Sailing and windsurfing Activities on the River Nene in central Northampton. This is in an area of anti social behaviour issues and near to deprived areas of central Northampton. The provision of accessible watersports at low cost in the centre of Northampton for local young people, promotes a heathy lifestyle, teamwork and leadership in young people.

Provision of reliable safety boats facilitate the watersports activites on the River which positively promote young people in the community and encourage participation. The replacement of aging equipment gives confidence to come and try under the supportive infrastructire of the qualified adult supervisors.
