With the country in Lockdown and children back learning online, Gracie and Albie wanted to try to raise some money for charity.
After helping to drop off food donated by the Orwell Park School community at FIND (Families in Need) HQ in Ipswich, they decided this was the charity who they'd like to support. (Gracie and Albie both attend Orwell Park School who are supporting FIND as their charity this year.)
Despite time and daylight being limited at the moment, they decided they wanted to cover 30 miles each, on foot, (one mile for every year FIND has been running) before the February half term (and hopefully the return to school).
They would be hugely grateful for any donations to support this great charity.
Some background on FIND:
FIND was established as a registered charity in 1990 by Maureen Reynel MBE. We help those that are deprived of a minimum standard of living, whether they are single, families, lone parents, children, elderly, sick, disabled or homeless. We offer free of charge food, household items, furniture, nursery equipment and nappies, beds and bedding and, when available, cookers, washing machines and refrigerators. When appropriate, this includes personal support too.
