Friends. I'm doing something rather out of character, and I'd very much appreciate it if you could recognise the pain and agony I'll be experiencing by helping me raise some money for a very special charity.
In November I will be running, hiking, cycling and kayaking my way through the Argentinian wilderness. Total travel distance of 230 miles, 43 of which will be running..... and I'm very much NOT a runner.
I started my running training in January and I've managed to get up to a 12 mile run. I need to be able to do over 20 miles in day. Twice. Up a mountain.
So I have a fair bit of training left to do with just over 2 months left.
To spur me on, it would be fantastic if you could donate to the charity I am running for, the Milton Keynes MS Therapy Group. My Mum was diagnosed with MS when I was 17 and she has been helping run the MK Therapy Group for over 30 years. They provide a range of services not widely available on the NHS, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). They are self-funded, independent and need our support. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
