My name is Grant Grier aged 53
I was born in Dundee, Scotland and left in 1981 to join the Army, having served in many locations throughout the world. I decided after serving in the 1st Gulf War it was time to leave due to some personnel reasons, and finished up in Telford, Shropshire were I worked for the MOD (Ministry of Defence) for 22 years, I left the MOD in October last year and took up my new Job at Screwfix Stafford, hence the local charity
I have raised hundreds of pounds over the years mainly running Marathons, & 1/2 Marathons and more recently cycling which I have done now,for just under 4 years
So I hear you ask what am I going to do, well on September 18th 2016 I will be taking part in the Etape Royale which is a 100mile cycle over the Cairngorms starting at Ballater and finishing in Ballater. I am a novice in the cycling world but I have been training since January this year and the preparation is going very well
Yours Sincerely
Grant Grier
