STING:Staffordshire's Therapeutic Independent Neurological Group is a user-led group based in Stone, Staffs. STING aims to provide help and support to people affected by a neurological condition in the first instance but is also open to anyone affected by a life-limiting condition. We offer various exercise sessions, Physiotherapy, social and fundraising events and are open to anyone living in Staffordshire and the surrounding areas.

Why the community needs us

STING aims to help improve the physical, psychological & social well-being of its members. Participants meet in a relaxing, non-threatening atmosphere which allows them to relax, talk and share experiences with people with similar needs which in turn helps to reduce stress & social isolation as they realise they are not alone with their condition. The Centre serves as valuable respite time for carers as they know they can leave their loved one in the knowledge they will be safe in their absence.
