I'm running the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 4th March to raise money for Bath City Farm.
The farm is a non-profit organisation providing education, training and therapeutic activities to disadvantaged people in the local community. They support disadvantaged and disabled people to develop new skills and confidence
They have grown from a handful of passionate volunteers who started Bath City Farm in 1990, to 12 members of part-time paid staff, a board of trustees, 100 animals and over 50 volunteers.
As a charity they rely heavily on investments from private funders, donations, and revenue from their own commercial operations. Every penny from their education programmes, shop, cafe, meeting spaces and events is invested back into the farm.
I am extremely grateful for any contribution received, no matter how small.
