Team Fundraisers

We now have planning permision for joint forestry/educational use of one of our woodlands (Hallr Wood) and have completed our educational access with the help of many local supporters. We want to especially thank S Morris our local quarry for donating all materials, our fantastic Pantomime group CHADs for donating the proceeds from their summer production. Any fund raising now will go towards the costs of play provision.

Why they need our service

We have run woodland activities for all abilities and ages since 2007. We especially support those with disabilities. We run regular conservation days for anyone who is interested. We value the help we receive with managing the woodlands our group runs and our volunteers can access training opportunities to increase skills. Our projects are both in small villages and the provision for children and young people has has a beneficial impact on rurally isolated communities.

Plan and expected results

Now that the work is finished and the planning conditions discharged, this woodland is much more viable as a resource for the community and a therapeutic space for many groups and organizations supporting children with various difficulties. It will be accessible to those with limited mobility. We now need to focus fund raising on delivery of sessions to children.
