I'm proud to have been asked to be a 'Star Runner' for ''Under The Stars''.
Despite waiting for an imminent replacement hip operation I want- on 22nd Sept - to do a 10k fundraising 'run' (I'll be walking) for this brilliant Sheffield charity -"Under The Stars".
It's a local music charity for adults with learning disabilites. They've guested on my 'Steel&Wire' radio show, & I was knocked out by their recent show @ The Leadmill.
3 years ago I 'walked' 2 half marathons - now 10k is a significant challenge for me.
I'm pretty confident I'll be the last person to finish.
I'm pretty confident that with your support I will finish- & we can help to make a real contribution to ensuring Under The Stars can continue to do outstanding work in Sheffield.
