Most people reading this now will be sat in a warm house, surrounded by friends and family, food and all the home comforts they need. However for some this isn't the case.
When things hit rock bottom and people have no where to turn, sadly the streets are the only option!
I will be sleeping outside intu MK to raise awareness of the youth homelessness issue in MK.

About YMCA MK Sleep Easy 2019
Join us on Friday 8th March 2019 at intu Milton Keynes – West Boulevard (between GAP and Hollister) from 7pm-7am for our annual Sleep Easy event. What is Sleep Easy? Sleep Easy is our staple fundraising event which aims to raise money to help prevent youth homelessness. By participating in this event and sleeping outside, you will experience one night of what a young homeless person experiences every day. Why should you participate? Milton Keynes has been named the homeless youth capital of the UK in a recent article published by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism. Many of the young people that come to us are vulnerable, socially isolated and in desperate need of a safe place to stay. The funds raised will go towards our new campus that’s due to open in September 2019. This will be a community hub for local young people and will provide accommodation, well-being and support services to help them belong, contribute and thrive.
