We are rural child health and education focus in Uganda seeking for the support for our operations for the rural kids in support for education and their health, we are declining in our operations due to the shortages in finances and granters, the local church which was supporting us financially has run out of support, so we are willing to run under your services and support for these rural kids officially, we are fully registered and permitted to operate by the government of Uganda. This proposal is aimed at helping Uganda Rural Childhealth & Education Focus (URACEF) move forward with its plans of empowering and transforming lives of the disadvantaged children in rural communities by increasing access to education and health sector.
Uganda has a large percentage of 21.4 %( 2017) of the population living below the poverty line. And, living below the poverty line means you cannot access most of the basic needs of life.
As a Non Government Organisation, we are not involved in business for profit. Most of our activities are supported by funds from well wishers. Without people supporting our activities, our organization cannot continue offering services to children in rural families who have little or no access to quality health and education services.
It is a responsibility of us all to solve the problem of poor quality education and health services faced by rural children. If we work hand in hand with each other, we can be advocates for change.
After conducting thorough research in the rural areas, the organization identified the following as key problems faced by rural homes.
Little or no education
Poor access to health services
Poor standards of living
