Hi all, my name is David Mendum. I have been training for the Edinburgh marathon that takes place on Sunday 25th may.
I have been looking for a charity local to where I live where a small donation can make a big difference.
Helping Hands for the Blind is a Basingstoke based charity that organises activities and outings for visually impaired people. They provide help, advice and support for the blind, visually impaired and their families. Their work helps people to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
I would like to raise some money for this worthy charity and in doing so help to make a difference to those the charity supports.
