To create an exciting, informative and interactive Visitor's Centre that promotes the heritage, educational and scientific aspects of The Town Mill. To revamp the 17th Century Miller's garden to encourage more visitors and establish a reputation for plants authentic to the period and the activities of the mill.

The Visitor Centre will encourage visitors to take a tour of the mill and make donations that ensure its running costs are met.

Increased number of visitors resulting in the attraction becoming more widely known with the potential to attract more volunteers and increase donations. The Centre will provide a more professional focus for group visits that can be tailored to the interests, age and ability of the visiting group.
