On the 14th December 2016 a musical band of Santas (including myself Hannah Fletcher) will perform a selection of Christmas classics on the summit of Mount Snowdon. We will set off first thing in the morning and aim to reach Snowdonia by 09:30. By 12:00 midday we hope to have reached the summit and will there perform the highest gig in the country! And why this ridiculous venture... Because right now approximately 3 young people in every classroom have been diagnosed with a mental health disorder. 1 in 10 young people self harm regularly and over half of all diagnosed cases of mental ill health begin at 14! WAYC does some amazing work supporting young people affected by illnesses such as depression and anxiety. The Sharp Minds project helps create inclusive environments where young people who are struggling with these issues can meet with others who understand and also experiencing these illnesses. The result is positive relationships form; young people are no longer isolated; they have friends they can turn to and who support them and can support them in turn. So this is why we are doing this! Please help me by sponsoring this crazy adventure!
Woop woop! Well done Hannah!x
