Hello! I am doing a sky dive on the 3rd October 2014.
I am doing this in support of a local community interest company called Imara set up in 2010 by Tamsin Baldwin and Cath Wakeman to offer early intervention support to children, teenagers and families after a disclosure of child sexual abuse.
You may be interested to know that the word "Imara" is a Swahili word that we feel represents not only how children, teenagers and families survive abuse, but also what we hope Imara will enable families to achieve, namely empowerment, strength and endurance.
Imara provide support through out legal proceedings and offer therapy to help those get through a very traumatic experience.
Imara rely solely on funding, every penny donated goes straight to Imara!!!
