I am running the Spartan Race for SexYOUality!!
SexYOUality are a small local charity who do vital and valuable work with young LGBT people who, for a variety of different reasons, may be vulnerable and find it difficult to access mainstream services due to their sexual orientation or gender identity.
The main services we run are regional LGBT youthgroups across Cambridgeshire, drop in support for young people, and generally a tailored and flexible support service for those with additional needs. We also run anti-homophobia workshops in primary and secondary schools and youth venues across the county - a vital service in schools where the climate of homophobic bullying can often be unbearable for isolated young people.
The Spartan Race is a challenge I have set myself as I wanted to give something back to SexYOUality having seen the benefits for the young people we work with. For such a small charity they really do affect young lives quite significantly!

err.... yes! Please give whatever you can and I will try my best to do well in the race and hopefully not die in the process! Race takes place in Milton Country Park on September 7th, and you'd be welcome to come along if you wish! Obstacles are hidden until we arrive so it really will be a challenge!!
