The club needs a new digital scoreboard to replace the existing mechanical scoreboard which needs constant maintenance to maintain basic operation. Some parts don't work and we need to modernise this facility which is in excess of 50 years old.

With laptop scoring, digital scoreboards are the future and allows more information to be displayed to supporters and are very low maintenance. All junior and senior teams will benefit during games and the job of the scorer will be made slightly easier. The visual appearance of the club and its facilities will also be improved.

We are aiming to have a digital scoreboard in place for the start of the 2013 or 2014 season, depending on the level of fundraising/donations. When you donate, you have the option to add a message to your donation. Please state that your donation is towards the digital scoreboard then we will allocate the funds accordingly. We will issue updates of how much we have raised periodically, as the functionality to do this automatically doesn't exist on this site at the moment, so stay posted!
