Hi friends, family, colleagues.
As you may not know in a very short while I'll be motivating myself to pound the pavement for 13.1miles around the not so flat roads of Bath, and not all in the name of 'fun'!
This year myself & my better half Lucie are raising money for the Bath Area Play Project charity. Amongst other things they run Summer play days, Inclusive Holiday Playschemes for disabled & non-disabled children & young people; 5-12 yrs during school holidays & 12-19+ years via their SOFA Programme.
All their services have the child/ young person at the centre & are led by qualified, experienced staff & volunteers. They're looking for fundraising from the Bath Half to help fund some of their amazing projects which really benefit children & young people in the local communities.
Any donations support the children who use these services & I'll run even harder!
