On the 23rd of July 2016, I will be completing a wing-walk with Acrobatictactics at Damyns Hill in Essex - this will involve climbs up to 130 mph while standing on the outside of the plane!
My grandad, Ron Cornell, always wanted to skydive and wing-walk. Sadly he passed away from cancer in 2015, but not before he jumped out of a plane raising money for charity at the age of 85! I have decided to finish his list for him, thank goodness I’ve inherited his adventurous side He would be so proud that I am going to do this challenge for him.
I am doing this in the memory of two very special people and have chosen two very special charities to raise money for. My grandad supported The Prospects Trust at Snakehall Farm - a care farm for people with disabilities - and he volunteered there right up until he became too ill to make the 90 mile round journey, he just loved it there. My sister Sandy passed away from a massive stroke in 2008 aged 32 leaving behind her husband and 3 children :-(and I want to help ease the pain of other families going through such tragedy by donating to The Stroke Association.
I cannot put into words how much I miss them both every day. Please help me celebrate the lives of two wonderful people by sponsoring me at jennyswingwalk/localgiving.com
Thank you.
