This year I have been very lucky to have been successful in the ballot for the London Marathon 2020.
Running the London Marathon has always been something I wanted to tick off the list of achievements in life.
With this in mind, I want to use my place to its full potential and I have thought long and hard as to what charity I would like to raise money for.
After having two healthy boys Dougie and Stanley and being very lucky to have another baby on the way, I really wanted to give something back to the local community that have helped through the pregnancy and post birth process.
Baby Basic’s is a charity based in Northampton that helps support families in greatest need by relying on the generosity of the public in donating Moses baskets filled with mother and baby essentials.
I’ve researched and seen what an amazing job these volunteers do for mother’s and babies in need of a little help within Northampton.
This charity is supported by our local midwives and health visitors.
As a collective community we can show our appreciation for all the hard work they do.
I am hoping to raise awareness as to the importance of this incredible charity.
