HI Everyone!
I'm participating in a swimathon at my local pool, the Jubilee on January 29 It might just close. Which stinks cause its where I get my exercise!
Here are the details:
A 24 hour swimming relay over the weekend of 29 and 30 January 2022 to raise money to support the next steps in saving Jubilee Swimming Pool.The Friends of Jubilee Pool are working towards bringing the pool into community ownership. We feel we have a good chance and the expertise to do this. However, as a voluntary organisation we need funds to be able to cover the costs of the professional help we need on the first steps towards managing the pool.That's why, on 29th and 30th January 2022, we're hosting a 24 hour fundraising swimming relay at the pool!
If you could spare a few quid for this great cause, in return, Karma points will be awarded to you.
I will be swimming for an hour of the 24 hours.
