I have been a Renal Patient since 2005 and I have had two Kidney Transplants in 2006 and 2015 respectively. With this in mind, I have decided to set myself a walking challenge and I have entered the Virtual London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October. I am putting on my walking boots and I will be walking 26.2 miles to raise funds for a Charity close to my heart. I am extremely proud to be part of the Paul Popham Fund because they not only support their patients with the practicalities of their medical condition from diagnosis, treatment and receiving a transplant but they support their patients emotionally with Peer Support Services and Counselling. The Charity also encourages adults, youth and children with kidney disease to “believe in themselves” and therefore improve their quality of life. By taking on this challenge I want to inspire kidney patients that however a big or small a challenge they set themselves they can do it and the Charity will support them.

Thank you for supporting me in this challenge and your donations will help improve patients’ lives.
