In 2010 I ran my first marathon which was the inaugural Brighton Marathon and afterwards said I would never do it again but here I am doing exactly that! When I put my entry in for the London Marathon to be honest I thought I wouldn't get a place but luckily for me I'm in.
Having quit my job at Christmas to take a short sabbatical I am now volunteering at the Wokingham Foodbank. Many people will think ' A foodbank in Wokingham, where is the need?' but after working there since October you can see there is a need and it can really make a difference to people in the local community. For people who need emergency supplies the Foodbank can really make a difference but they need your continued help to pay their costs, such as the rent of the building.
Any small amount you can donate to the funds of the Wokingham Foodbank will ensure its continued success and enable local Wokingham families to not be without essential food and supplies.

For my part I will hopefully get round the London Marathon in one piece, my aim is to beat my time from 2010 which was 4 hours 36 minutes.
Thanks for your support
