My youngest daughter Ffion had her kidney transplant in February of this year and thankfully is doing really well. She is still a regular visitor to the Children's Kidney Centre and we spend a lot of time there. The current centre has no natural light so is very dark and unwelcoming for patients and their parents/carers. The Paul Popham Renal Fund are fundraising to refurbish the Kidney Centre. The refurbishment will make the regular trips that Ffion and other patients make to the Centre a more enjoyable experience.
I am taking part in a team challenge to walk the perimeter of Wales which is 1085 miles. Any donation you give, however small, will really be appreciated and will help contribute to the overall target of £130,000.
